Bridal shower texting without the group chat
Send the invite, collect RSVPs by reply, and share day-of details from one number — so the maid of honor isn’t chasing everyone in five threads.
Bridal showers are smaller than weddings and somehow messier to coordinate. Paper invites are lovely; last-minute address changes, dietary notes, and “are you coming?” follow-ups are not. Text keeps the guest list clear without turning planning into a group chat.
How it works
- Add the shower guest list. Import contacts and group bridesmaids, family, and coworkers if you want different messages.
- Schedule the sequence. Invite, RSVP reminder, registry note, and day-of details — timed around the shower date.
- Meno sends; guests reply. Answers land next to each guest so you always know who’s in.
A simple bridal shower text timeline
- Invite text — date, time, place, and host — as soon as the shower is set.
- RSVP reminder — a short nudge; guests reply YES or NO to the same thread.
- Registry / gift note — optional, sent a week or two before.
- Day-of details — parking, door code, start time — when guests actually need them.
- Thank-you — a warm note after, from the bride or host.
What the messages sound like
"You're invited! Join us for Mia's bridal shower on Saturday, May 2 at 2pm — The Garden Room, 14 Oak St. Reply YES or NO to this text. Hosted with love by Sarah & Jen 💐"
"Quick reminder for Mia's shower this Saturday — doors open at 1:45, parking in the rear lot. Can't wait to celebrate with you!"
Same tools as the wedding
Bridal shower texting uses Meno’s wedding guest texting workspace — guests, groups, RSVP replies, and a dedicated number. When the big day comes, the same list can carry into the full wedding timeline. Planning a larger celebration? See event guest texting.
